english@camps - Language camps for young travel organizations and facilities

The range of the services offers support, additional and optimal self-organized language camps for children and adolescents through working together with english speaking counsellors.

In line with English@Camps (E@C) we offer you individually organized English lessons at your location - as day camps over a period of 6 or 13 days with accommodation or as your own individually specified program options.

We are the right partner for you if you are looking for English speaking members of staff for your individually organized Camps or, indeed, if you need the support of native speakers for your own English program. With our office in Ottawa/Canada, and other partners, we are looking to find enthusiastic, young native English speakers to train in our English program. They will then go on to develop their methods showing creativity and flexibility for the variety of requirements the bearer is responsible for.

Our English camps provide a wonderful opportunity for children and adolescents to learn English under the instruction of native English speakers, without it being 'compulsory' as it is in school.

Each Camp instructor must fulfil the following requirements:

  • a full description including CV, letter of motivation and an example of having experience in English lessons

  • valid First Aid certificate

  • clear certificate of good conduct

  • detailed report of personal job interview

  • Have taken part in the 5-day e@c- education seminar in accordance with standards as set in Juleica, and in addition the knowledge of how to teach English in a fun way.

  • Minimum Age of 19

  • if possible, previous experience in teaching abroad

Camp Adventure is the founder of the „English@Camps“. We are an international Camp for children and adolescents and are the only company in Germany accredited by the Camp-world association „International Camping Fellowship“.

On the basis of many years good experience and team building with children and adolescents we place a lot of value in working, so much so that we actually encouraging copying! We want the participants to embrace the challenge together and to develop as a whole. The practice showed that the children who were 'weak' at the beginning of the time, then went on to become highly motivated resulting in better English grades by the end of the course.

Important to know: The age range of the participants should be between 10-15 years or split into groups of children aged 9-12/13 and 12/13-15 years old. For every teacher, there must be at least 10 participants per week to guarantee the course. The maximum number in any given group should not exceed 14 children.

We will happily plan with you a made-to-measure scheme and will support you in putting it into action.

The E@C offer is available to book as either a 6 or 13 day program or as a program option, integrated in a finished planned itinerary.
