CAMP ADVENTURE is an organization founded by Jan Vieth in 2002.

It combines the positive aspects of German summer camps with those of Canadian camps, to an outstanding camp full of adventures to children and youths from diffent countries, where they have the opportunity to   learn and live tolerance along with international guests, who speak diffent languages.Where the language abilities are limited, the kids help themselves by using gestures and mimic art. What is better than making friends of other countries with diffent cultural background?

CAMP ADVENTURE fullfills the highest expectations with regard to quality and security and aims at developing the spirit of enterprise and solidarity of   every teamer and camper:

We don´t want to be a kind of "Robinson Club", where the kids only consume. We want them to organize with us the daily life of the camp. Therefore the campers are responsible for the camp together with their teamers who share and supervise one tent with 5-7 kids.

They are all experienced young adults, most of them in their mid-twenties who work with enthusiasm on an volunteer basis in the camp.  

Every tent group has to fullfill duties for the whole camp (120 kids, ca. 25 teamers), such as cooking, cleaning the camp and/or the sanitaries. So the participants learn to take responsibility for themselves and others in a spirit of fun and companionship.

As every group of "cooks" can chose the meal they want to prepare (and eat), the kids decide themselves,- and donot have to eat food that only adults like...

Of course,most of the day is dedicated to share different activities and sports with other kids in a safe and friendly environment: the participants have the possibility to chose and determine as much as possible their individual program (see PROGRAM). They can systematically learn the skills of the different activites offered by our teamers.

Our program does not offer extreme sport activities like Bungee Jumping or others known by Hollywood action movies,but   includes basic sports such as volleyball or soccer and sport activities with the touch of adventure, such as mountain biking, archery,climbing or canoeing.All these activities are taught and explained by experts for whom security measures are   most important.This is the reason why CAMP ADVENTURE was accredited in 2003 by the International Camping Fellowship Federation.

One of our specialities is the "Survivor Hike": 1-3 days and nigh(s) without tents.

At this occasion the participants do not only learn to discover the wonderful landscape of Bavaria by using map and compass,but also to build shelters for the group and cook over open fire and/or spirit stoves. These common activities help to form a close group of peers. Some of the activities are tiresome, but to sleep in under the stars after a rough hiking day   compensates for many inconveniences.

hey jan, wie auch schon letztes jahr folgt den zwei letzten campwochen ein ganz großes dankeschön!!! es hat wieder mega viel spaß gemacht, obwohl wir, die das camp schon aus dem letzten jahr kannten, natürlich manchmal auf den "überraschungseffekt" verzichten mussten, was aber durch neue aktionen wie das donauabseilen absolut in vergessenheit gerät. schade finde ich, das es kein nachtreffen gibt, hat mir letztes jahr echt gut gefallen. hoffe, wir sehen uns nächstes jahr im leadership in bayern!!!
